Mentor-Protégé Workshops and Seminars
The CAMS mentor program offers a series of programs to help mentors and students become better communicators, positive role
models and strong working teams. These fast-paced, interactive workshops cover a wide range of important topics, help foster
meaningful mentor-protégé relationships and help participants enhance their relationships with others. Attending the workshops
together is also a convenient way for mentors and protégés to get to know each other and begin applying the principles they
learn to their relationship.
Why attend these sessions?
These sessions focus on helping you learn valuable information and become skilled and insightful in your relations with your
mentor or protégé and with others.
How many sessions should you attend?
Training sessions cover three basic areas: communication, multi-cultural awareness and college career awareness. Mentors and
protégés should try to attend a minimum of one session from each topical area, then select others that most directly meet their personal and mentor-protégé educational goals.
